#certainpain Twitter Chat: 23 February 2017, 12-1pm (UK Time)

February 15, 2017 Alicia Spencer-Hall
  • Q1 Does Twitter play a role in the management of your pain? For example, does it give you an outlet to express your pain experience, or help you to connect with others in the same circumstances?
  • Q2 Are there things related to your experience of chronic pain that you would NOT post to Twitter? Or are there things that you think Twitter does not 'handle well' when talking about this topic?
  • Q3 Do you use other social networks, alongside Twitter? Do you talk about your pain differently, if at all, on other social networks?
  • Q4 How do you feel about researchers using tweets as a source of data? Does it make any difference if researchers don't use the tweeter's name?

Edited 19/12/17: Due to the impending demise of Storify, I've switched out the Storified content to a Wakelet collection.
